What To Buy Next? Anyone here with a C218 CLS550/63AMG?
What would you buy today to replace your E55/E63 with?
Anyone with a 218-chassis 2012-2018 CLS 400, CLS 550, or CLS 63 AMG? Any thoughts as to the pros/cons to the vehicle?

I am interested to know what people think as well. I would not sell my car for a long time, but if it was in the budget I would get a 4matic biturbo something as a replacement, probably E63. Traction is the problem with these cars. They talked up the electronic 2wd diff a lot in the biturbo C63 but nothing beats awd.

Agreed, I saw a used 2016 E63 with 4Matic, Certified Pre Owned, and the traction concerns crossed my mind. I'm currently on all season tires and I'm at a traction deficit even in normal driving. The CLS 550 has a 285 width rear tire, compared to the 265 on my E55, I imagine that the CLS 550 RWD will have adequate traction in normal driving.
