E55 FTP intake installation question??? Y pipe!
I purchased an FTP intake from a member on the forums here a while back. It’s the older design that uses the aluminum Y pipe that mates to the throttlebody. Since then I’ve noticed they’ve updated the design to a silicone Y pipe.., problem is I can’t get this damn aluminum Y pipe to freaking fit no matter how I trim the silicone reducer hose that goes from the throttlebody to the Y pipe. Anybody have any tips or can give me some advice on what I’m doing wrong? Thanks.
