Any new info/advice on a PLM HE and split cooling

I've looked at info that's here, and there's plenty. Just wondering if there's any recent info/advice before I get started. Is a Cobra tank the best option for split cooling? Thanks!

This has been covered 100's if not 1000's of times on here and everywhere else online. The problem with your question is defining "best". Best to you may not be the same as best to me. If you want the cheapest route then go for a BMW style reservoir split cooling system ( $100 bucks on VRP). If you want the system that will provide the lowest IAT temps than that would be a large capacity trunk tank, secondary pump with killer chiller. (over $1000 for this setup)

Define "best" and maybe we can provide some more feedback.

I went with the BMW style reservoir split cooling system and quickly realized it wasn't enough to combat the higher IAT i'm getting with my 77mm pulley. I have since ordered a 2.5 gal under the hood ice tank because I don't like the idea of losing trunk space and/or running the lines and secondary pump in the trunk.

I'm not interested in doing a trunk tank and prefer to not remove the cabin air filter box in order to do the under hood ice tank. So I guess my question is what's a better reservoir than the BMW one? And looking for advice from anyone who's done an install recently of a PLM HE or done split cooling. Yes, I've read some of the numerous post(not all) and watched some YouTube vids.

I don't believe split cooling has much to offer. Bbirdwell's write up on the PLM is all you need and I added a few points to that thread after I did mine too.

x2, only difference I saw was 50 dollars less in my pocket. (That is in regards to the BMW reservoir type)
