Chip Upgrade for W210
I'm thinking of upgrading the chips for my W210 E55..... can anyone in this forum help me deciding the best bet?
I saw some ppl suggesting:
- Powerchip
- Wetterauer
- Upsolute
- SpeedTuningUSA
Anything else? Any comments from end users? Do you really feel (not you think you do) more power and torque? Anyone has dyno'd before and after performance?
Do you think upgrading the pulley will give me more power than upgrading only the chips?
Also, from this forum, some people think W210 chassis and internal parts may not be able to handle additional power and torque. He said AMG has determined the optimal engine power... Is this true?
I am not considering upgrading to S/C.... as not only expensive but also would rather getting W211 E55...
Any info is appreciated.
PS: SF Bay Area AMG owners, any good tuners here? I so far service my car at Smythe European.... am looking for a cheaper and/or better place to do service and tuning.
