I used Stoptech ceramic front pads on my 07 E63. They don't have the great initial bite that the OEM pads had. But the most positive thing is, is that they have no brake dust.
Since installing my new wheels, I have yet to clean because of brake dust. Even after all this rain we've had here in Virginia. I only clean the wheels, when the car gets washed.
With the OEM pads, I had to clean the wheels a couple of times a week, now if it rains, then that's a whole different ball game because the wheels are covered in brake dust.

Apart from OEM pads and rotors. I've only ever used Pagid or Zimmerman rotors, and the OEM front 2-piece rotors.
But Coleman Racing products can fabricate new front friction rings for you, to replace your worn OEM rotors.
You would just reuse the aluminum center hat. And for the price, it's worth it. I'm considering that route next time.
