I also noticed guys with fixed pulley have a hiccup with the 90mm Tb. I‘m clutched and will remain clutched until I eventually go 2.9L gen 3 whipple blower that weistec sells.

The hiccups that I’ve seen people complain about are the lean spike from P0106 and P0505 and some drivability. Those 2 codes are leaks. One thing that I’ve noticed is gasket number 86 is a double layered gasket with 2 little metal O rings on the each side. That gasket causes a tiny leak. I have since not used it and applied gasket maker same one used at the dealer. Ultra RTV black seals good as well but it’s a pain to take off. I have my blower off pretty often since I’m always changing my set up. Now for drivability when I put the 90mm throttle body on right off the bat the car ran fine just a little leaner from the higher air volume but it only went from 11.2 to 11.8-11.9. So nothing too lean. Tony has the tune down pretty damn good. What’s funny is I didn’t even retune the car until after a week. The car’s throttle response is immediate. Atfer 5k rpm it keeps climbing vs falling with the 82mm tb.

Nope, because my last dyno pull was last year making 540/663 on a SAE Dynojet around 2800 DA at 12psi. My currrent DA is over 6000 DA and I’m only seeing 9-10psi. Unless I get the same weather conditions or close to it I won’t waste my time or money. I did a roll against my buddy’s 2014 Turbo S and I put 2 to 2.5 cars on him. So I know for a fact I made big gains with this and the other mods I did.
Here’s a run I had with some friends a few weeks back. It was around 90F outside too. Thanks to that desert heat.
Camera car is a stock M157 E63s.
