Crank pulley puller?
Hey all,
I'm replacing the crank pulley because the SC side came off. But I'm having a hell of a time getting the pulley off the crank.
I got the bolt off without any issues (after sourcing the pulley holder from Mercedes), but now the pulley itself is stuck on there. Not getting any forward/back movement out of it at all.
I've got the belts off and am ready to slip this new pulley on but this last part is holding me back.
Any tips? I tried a small HF 3-jaw puller but it won't hold onto the pulley tight enough.
Been digging through the forums and Google results for the last week, but all threads talk about the bolt itself.

I have a feeling the pulley may have rotated on the crank/key way and is now stuck. Maybe.
Source a puller and get it off as it is your best option......hopefully the crank is not in bad shape.

This place is a joke.
It should slide right off. If not get 2 pry bars and work it off by prying on opposite sides at the same time. If you get the pulley crooked it will not move, so lightly tap it back in place and start over.

if its one of the small HF pullers with reversible arms, try putting the smallest arm side into the holes in the pulley and pull that way- you may have to grind them down a little --
