X-pipe and intake recomendations

Good morning people.

I am looking to put a x pipe on my e55, before I go to someone to have it custom made, i want to know if this one will work:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-X-pipe-...AAAOSwIeFbLDQ3

any if anyone have ordered "already made" x-pipe online that works great?

for intake, i am looking at this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/CLS-55-AMG-...sAAOSwQjNW-pre

if anyone have it on the car, how is it? Do I need a tune for just changing the intake? any other recomendations?

Thank you

That's the same x-pipe I used to replace the resonator on my E500 with M113 engine.
Works great and extremely good value.

formed X-Pipes are better than not having one, but you'd generally want a cut and welded X-Pipe for maximum Laminar flow.

Might be a maximum 1/4" difference in our piping diameters, but that small amount could be made up in the weld. It should fit, others may chime in on this.

+1 on the x-pipe, that's the go to style

Huge negative on the intake. Don't waste your money, it does absolutely nothing but heatsoak you in traffic and brings no gain. Don't do it.

The only intake that gains power over the stock airboxes is the Needswings intake. I gained 1.7psi of boost from that alone at 6000 plus DA.

if you do get it make sure it's coated.
