You're doing good. 13 years and 82K miles! My Airmatic was replaced when the car was around 9-10 years old and at a similar mileage to yours (maybe slightly lower mileage). The Driver side front failed; the dealer ended up replacing both front Airmatic struts. Wishing you a very happy and healthy Airmatic system!

Thank You. I think it has to do with the fact that my car has never been daily driven. I do all of my own maintenance and repairs when I can. I inspect everything on a regular basis and it gets parked in a climate controlled garage.

It's hard to say if failure is imminent or not, as some like myself have gotten many years out of their system, without replacing any parts.
But like all things, they fail at some point in their life cycle. My E63 is 11 yrs old, without failures and a daily driver.
If you were to keep your car for 20 years, then yes at some point you would need to replace some parts.
