Hi all, new to this forum, my apology if I am not where I need to be, that said I want to buy a complete differential assembly that has a limited slip installed with the 2.82 gear set up- quaiffe-wavetrac-or factory P030 option. Please PM if
anyone has a line on one. Might be willing to buy LSD UNIT seperately and source an open diff for rebuild locally. (San Francisco Bay Area)- Thanks!!

Not saying it's not possible, but I have been on the board for a year and installed my own wavetrac. In the year I've been searching around this forums and ebay for 55 parts I haven't come across some one selling the whole assembly. Best of luck to you though ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
This is probably the cheapest you will find the wavetrac where @ $975: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-Wa...cAAOSwdGFY2HAf

This place is a joke.
E55 is 2.65 and E63 is 2.82 as well as SL55. You will need your TCU reprogrammed for the 2.82 ratio. I have an SL55 2.82 diff in mine with Wavetrac. I wouldn't do it again- the 2.82 RPM's are too high on the highway around 90mph. I saw no difference in 1/4 mile times. The 5th gear in our transmissions is a little short. The SL55 came with a 2.82 because of the taller tire size. The E63 has 7 speeds, and a taller overdrive gear.

Hi thanks, was told the rear diff was 2.82 but never looked, found a cos 63 lsd, for 500 do you think the post unit would interchange?Would be nice to have factory type unit though I'm open to quaff or wavetrac---- thanks again for the insight.
