Advice on Brakes

I need to change the brakes all for corners. Just too much noise and driving me nuts, got life left in them but not worth it. Is Meyle a good brand?

Never heard of Meyle, but just went with Zimmerman rotors and Akebono pass up front from FCPEuro. Great so far, and lifetime warranty is where it’s at.

Meyle is fine. They are the cheapest by far. I don't know if they are painted for corrosion protection like the Zimmermann.

I'm running Meyle's and akebono's and I'll do it again.

E63 AMG
The Meyle rotors are Chinese, and they are crap, inferior iron, which turns to Cementite, far too easily:

Brembo, Textar, Bosch, StopTech, Meyle, Akebono are all made in china.

I'd stick with the German made Zimmermann rotors.

Akebono pads are good. I wish they made them for the E63.

It's a daily driver not a race car. 20K on my Chinese crap rotors and they bite hard, no fade, no pedal pulse, no vibration, no excessive corrosion, nothing negative (so far). I'll let everyone know if that changes. I consider a brake job to consist of new hardware, pads and rotors. Usually when the pads are shot, so are the rotors, but I live in the rust belt.

Now I did replace the old glazed Zimmermans that came on the car. That someone put new pads on (old rotors new pad trick). The pedal feel was vague, no confidence mashing down hard. They could have been lathed and mic'd but I chose to dump'em. Old fine German iron for some new pig iron
