E63 Steering Wheel Conversion
Do many people use the E63 wheel on the 55? I know it takes some doing to make everything work. I have one for sale with the airbag that is in good shape that is less then half price of Ebay and it is still not selling. I thought it would have sold instantly.

I think for 06 and possibly 05 car it's an easier swap. 2003 and 2004 cars require the column with the signal/wiper stalks from an 06 (and possibly 05) IIRC. Steering wheel upgrade is on my list, hopefully my 05 can easily swap in an E63 wheel. If I need to source a column from an 06 and do a bunch of wiring I think I'll just go aftermarket

Instead of starting a new thread, could you guys answer this for me? I found a steering wheel that's non-AMG. Is it possible to swap the back housing where the shift buttons are? This is the listing for the wheel: https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rch/...719520012.html
