Any chance the 65 rotor will fit?
The rotors on the 65 cars will have aluminum hats good (according to AMG) for a 20 % weight reduction. Any chance they will fit the 55's?

I am looking into this for my CL55 too.
You will need at least 19" rims to clear the rotors since they are larger.
The rotors do have different offsets which may cause a problem as well.

Just read your other thread. Going by what you posted there, they are obviously using a different caliper bracket to compensate for the diameter and offset. There is no reason to believe anything else would be different so it should be simple to retrofit your car. As far as the E55 is concerned I guess it will depend on whether any of the S class cars use the same caliper bracket as the E and whether the rotors/calipers will clear the E class suspension.
