2004 E55

Power Problems

Have an 04 E55 with about 500 miles on it. I have just recently noticed a slight hesitation and sputtering (heard with the window down) on rapid acceleration in first gear and a perceived (could be imagined) slight decrement in power. Acceleration seems slightly rough until higher gears are reached.

Anyone with similar experience or knowledge about what might be going on?

I have noticed the same power issues that you describe from time to time. I wonder how much of this problem is heat related/

I have heard about SL 55:s with the same problem. It was the water pump.
