Brabus K8 W211 E55
hope this isn't a repost. Brabus introduced a K8 version of the E55. new exciting addons include a Carbon Fiber Lip Spoiler for the AMG bumper, carbon-fiber entry-sill plates, and a trunk decklid spoiler! nice subtle mods to spruce up the E55.
power is rated at 530hp and about 551 lb/ft. of torque.
also - Eisenmann also introduced its line of exhuasts for the W211 E55, currently only offered in the quad 120 x 77mm oval tips. i bet those looking for an SL55-type sound, the Eisenmann E55 will surely not disappoint. current price is about $2900 shipped.
Quote from Brabus North America:
"Even more power for the Mercedes E 55: BRABUS lends the top-of-the-line E-Class model even more power. With BRABUS K8 performance tuning power output jumps to 530 hp / 390 kW while peak torque increases to 775 Nm. With an acceleration time of just 4.3 seconds for 0 - 100 km/h and an electronically limited top speed of 320 km/h the E 55 sedan and wagon achieve performance on the level of purebred sports cars.
Upon customer request BRABUS also offers a rear axle shortened by 6 percent for the E 55. With its integrated self-locking differential it improves traction and driving dynamics.
After the BRABUS power treatment the E55 zooms to 100 km/h from rest in just 4.3 seconds, passes the 200 km/h mark after exactly 13.6 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 320 km/h.
For further optimization of directional stability at high speeds the BRABUS designers developed a carbon lip for the front spoiler which is attached to the production bumper of the E 55. Its aerodynamic counterpart in the rear of the sedan is the custom-developed BRABUS spoiler lip for the trunk lid, which reduces lift on the rear axle at high speeds. "

I looked closely at a K8 kit around 12 months ago thorugh a frien who is the regioanl brabus distributor. After reveiwing the parts list and fitting instructions, realised they were asking over $10K for two pullies a belt and an ECU upgrade. I hasd read in a magazine, that it included intercooler upgrades as well, which is why I was initially interested. Turned out to be total BS.
Brabus has gotit's head up it's @ss, when it comes to pricing it's products IMO.

Yes, I forgot to mention, the [price was my friends buy price from the factory, not retail. You can buy a bew car for the money they ask to reflash an ECU, supply two pullies and a $25 belt.
