on my 2008 e550 i changed out the front brake pads in the usual way, opening the cap on Master cylinder and pushing in the pistons so the new pads would side in. after that my pedal slowlyl sinks to the floor i bled the brakes 3times and changed the master. i have brakes now but i dont feel like the abs system is working when i do a panic stop. i cant figure out the problem is there something like air in the sbc pump lines? do i need a sophisticated scanner to figure it out.

I didn't think any models still had SBC in 2008. I would guess there must still be air in the lines. Otherwise scan for codes.
