e63 interior/rear folding seat swap into e55
Has anyone here done this?
I have a wrecked e63 and I really like the fold down seats those came with (I dont actually prefer the style e63 seats or interior though for some reason but thats a moot point the e63 interior is a bit better condition that my e55 one). Looking at it, it looks like iv got to swap damn near everything the parcel shelf the lot as its quite a different seat and belt arrangement in the rear of these folding seat models. I also notice when you pull the seat lever it has an electronic noise and the dash makes a beep. So that makes me thing it may also need coding and a 2004 may not have this type of thing in the coding so could be a major?
Im thinking this is would be a fairly time consuming undertaking and also the mounts for the seat actuators and locks and all that are probably not built into the older 2004 body as well as coding issues?
