Anyone else got rust on there rear arches. Both my rear arches are starting to rust bubble on the lips. It’s an 2003 e55.
was thinking of getting some repair panels and cutting the old arches out and welding some new ones in. Don’t think a repair will last long term.

 

I don't think rust is very common on the 211 chassis; I haven't heard of many cars with rust issues. It's a way more serious issue for the 210s

 

I have owned (3) MB with the W211 chassis, and rust have never been an issue, not even in winter.

 

Rust is not an issue where I live.

W210's are notorious for rusting, haven't heard much about it being an issue with the W211.
