112 vs 113 bearings (main and rod)
So when one decides to replace bearings on the M113k, the path to finding the color codes is quite straight forward. Crank and block are clearly marked.
My question is - the 112 engine is a V6 version of the M113, and M113k is a version of the m113.
Mains and rod journals seem the same throughout, though the M113k is twice the output.
You can buy: 113-030-00-40-56 (Red) mains and you can buy 112-030-00-40-56 (red) mains - and the price difference adds up. Tempting to buy them and see if there is any difference.
Anyone have any clue on this here?

I'd be afraid of a hardness or material difference. Although it wouldn't surprise me all that much if it was just a price difference. Maybe buy one of each and see how hard they cut with shears.

So you won't be commenting further. Got it.
Maybe. I doubt it though. I'll have to add up the difference and see if its worth it.
