MHz rating for our key
Hi all,
I am looking at sourcing a replacement key for my E55, as I only received one when I bought the car. Is a Japanese import. I am the first owner of the car in my country.
I can source a key, with chip etc, that just needs to be programmed.
I am just trying to work out what the Megahertz rating is. 433?
Can anyone enlighten me at all please.
Car is a 2005 Mercedes E55 with the all black plastic key, no chrome edges.
Cheers,
Graeme

This place is a joke.
You have to buy a pre-programmed key from your local dealership- who orders it pre-programmed for your specific VIN# from Mercedes-Benz. That is the only option. You'll need to bring the registration and/or title and I.D. to the dealership when you order it.
