‘04 E55 Won’t Do a Burnout
Yea I’ve searched and read the post about his from ‘12. Didn’t find a conclusive answer.
I understand dyno mode mode may make the tires light up easier, however I’m doing this before races and don’t want to have to shut the car off and then back on to turn off dyno mode.
I hit ESP off, manual mode in 1st, and floor it with a little brake. Car spins the tires for about a second or two, and then drops all throttle goes into limp mode with no boost until the car is shut off and back on.

I haven’t heard of the limp mode issue, but as you may have read when seeing dyno mode mentioned, the traction control is not fully detestable with the ESP switch. You have to go into dyno mode, and even then, no LSD.
