Exhaust
What is the best exhaust setup currently I have just the cats removed on standard exhaust but am getting long tubes put in in the next week or so any recomendations??? Where the cats were removed he just put straight pipes would I benefit more from a x pipe ?

Best exhaust is the stock one in my opinion. Fits perfectly, completely reliable and you won't gain much except noise by changing it. I would definitely install the long tubes before considering alterations.

i have already had the cats removed and they just replaced them with straight pipes I’ll have to check tomorrow but I don’t know if he used an h pipe or not. Would It sound and or perform better to have an x pipe where the cats were instead ??

has anyone put a bi-modal exhaust on at all? i was considering some X Force Varex mufflers like these combined with a secondary cat delete/X pipe install?

I had a mate with the Varex mufflers on a Ford Mondeo (think Fusion) 5cyl turbo. It sounded awesome at WOT with the valves open. i had the same type of car with sports mufflers but at low speed city driving speeds, it droned like a *******.
i'm thinking i might have to go this route as C63 mufflers are as rare as hen's teeth here in Aus
