Do e500 control arms fit the e55?

I have cls55 but its the same as e55 as far as I've seen so far.. Anyway,
Pelican was showing this kit as suitable for cls55 but had none in stock.
https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...350-99-06-M604 (oddly they no longer list it in the cls55 section..)

I brought it from another website( https://www.carpartsdiscount.com/con...ml?3593=548953 ) that only had it listed as fitting cls500/550 etc. Before I did so I went on pelican and cross referenced cls500 arms and cls55 arms and they all had the same part numbers, so good to go I thought...Wrong.

Kit gets here, I install the toe arm (track rod?) and the sway bar end links. All fit perfectly and seems good. I went to install the other arms and noticed I don't have a 12mm triple square socket so I took it to a local shop to get fitted and aligned.

They removed the camber arm and found the factory bolts don't fit (too large), and the Vaico pack didn't come with any bolts like in the picture. They said that the other arms don't fit either, but I am kinda skeptical so will take another look in the weekend..

Do you think that these parts do not fit the cls55/e55 because of a smaller bolt and bushing configuration? I'm going to see if I can get the matching vaico supplied bolts, if they are a size down do you think it will still be safe to use them?

Cheers,

Really shouldn't put low quality parts like that on a 200 mph car. Since you are, can you just drill the holes out bigger?

E500 control arms will not fit the E55 AMG.

AMG has a 14mm bolt on the upper arm bolted to the hub. Non-AMG uses a 12mm bolt on the upper arm bolted to the hub. Since the AMG has a bit more torque it makes sense.

So, if you obtained E55 control arms you should be good but please verify part numbers online first.
