help with SDS laptop
Hello... so I've had a C3 Star machine for a few years, came with an IBM T30 laptop that eventually burned out, I swapped the hard drive into another used T30 that eventually also broke. I picked up a used Dell 830 but cannot get it to work; it wont boot from the old hard disk attached via USB port and I tried copying the Star files onto the new computer but I don't know how to make it run. I tried running an "installer" icon but it got angry in German. I was watching online videos on how to hack some of the entry key codes and I'm lost. I had no problem swapping the tandem pump on the v12 after it blew a hydraulic hose... but I suck at computers. So I'm not sure what would be the best path forward, maybe buying the SDS software on a disk, or another laptop with the software on it, or f it a whole new rig and sell it after I fix the car, because I'm probably selling the car too ;-) . I think the new rebuilt pump I got might be garbage, but I need the star machine to do some diagnostics first, of course. Appreciate the help. and Happy Easter
