Facelift trunk lid for $17
So completed facelift trunk lid, got the lower plastic piece off of a sliver 07 E550 from the junkyard. Painted it and installed. One screw on each side and one in the middle; oh, you have to take off license plate too. A 2.5 on difficulty scale.
BTW, Anybody need stock lower trunk lid? $20 plus shipping 😃
Before
After, longer chrome gives it s wider appearance. Oh, That’s AMG_POWER’s car next to mine at the SXS Supercars by the Sea Huntington Beach CA last Saturday.
Before
After, package deal on paint so unsure how much it would cost to paint individually.

The "lower" section of the trunk lid is basically a big plastic trim piece. It's held on with some nuts and tape. It's a ***** to take off the first time and not so much after that.
Go tap on yours with a knuckle. It's plastic, not metal.
