Coolant Won't Bleed

I just split my cooling. Went to bleed the system by bypassing the relay in the trunk and placing the car in ignition mode. The heat IC pump powers on and works but this is as far as the coolant will travel in the tube? Is this normal? I also installed a new Bosch pump as well. Also, the car was on jack stands when bleeding the system. Any suggestions as to why this is happening, and what I can do to get the coolant flowing?

Did you clamp the ic hose? Forgot which ones. Make sure you secure the bleeder hose into the BMW reservoir tight or else you going to have coolant sprayed all over your bay.

You need to pinch closed the coolant line right below your bleed tube so the water is forced to flow through the bleed tube, otherwise it will just continue on its merry way down to the H/X.
