gear shift moves when accelerating ?
just wanted to see if anyone else's gear shift lever moves under hard acceleration or is this a sign of needing new mounts ? if i rest my hand on the gearshift and jump on the throttle then i can feel the lever moving from the the motor.trans torquing -- i have not crawled under there yet but soon

Rev it up in park with the hood open. See if your engine is trying to run away.

LOL,, will do - i dont run it very hard so not to worried but will add to the list of maintenance items

2002 CL500 to CL55 conversion
most likely the trans/engine mounts are weak. could also maybe just be the shift bushings are worn out of spec
