Dpe headers

Who else on here is using dpe ( de Filippo) headers for there e55 amg , I just recieved mine yesterday and to be honest am not impressed with the build quality at all, the company i went through autowerks automotive in Sydney Australia were awesome as for dpe maybe look for another welder

Yea sure mate will post pictures up tonight. I may be expecting to much from a set of $1500 headers but I’ll see what you think

Here are a couple of pictures sorry I can try get some better ones after work






will be getting them fitted in a couple of weeks along with other bits in picture, am hoping for some noticeable gains 🤞

The welds look ok from the outside, ground them flat. The merge collector is extremely average, definitely not the best. They look more like mid length than long tubes to me? Maybe it is the angle. Regardless you should get some pretty good gains. Hopefully they install ok.

Yeah they midlength headers look similar to kleeman/eurocharged. Has company in NZ sell me kleemann midlength marketed as long tube.. still make good power though!
