Creative Steel poly engine mounts review
Car is an '06 E55 daily driver. I chose the softer black poly compound. I can't comment on the install as it was a breeze since I was doing headers at the same time. I also can't comment on noise because of the change in headers and removal of both the primary and secondary cats definitely increased the noise level. However, fitment is perfect and there is definitely an noticeable increase in vibration but very much tolerable IMO. At idle, I would equate it to the type of vibration you feel if you're in a four cylinder manual transmission car and trying to accelerate hard in fifth gear at like 40mph...or maybe an older 305/350 at idle. I wouldn't recommend these for those who want to keep that silky smooth idle with good stock mounts but I would recommend it if you don't want to ever change your engine mounts again and don't mind sacrificing a little comfort. Above say 25mph or so or light throttle, there's very little increase in vibration. I'd say it's negligible. This is going from a brand new set of stock mounts with about 2k miles on them. I'm a fan.

I wouldn’t bother with it since I haven’t changed mounts in years now because I strapped down the motor, cheap and works. GN guys gave that idea for free lol

Yep, as a GN owner myself (hence the username), I am familiar with the tie down technique and used to have the ratchet strap on the GN before I went with the poly mounts on it. You can still get factory style replacement mounts for the turbo Regals for about $6 for the pair, lol.

I have a GN also, and have owned 2 additional turbo regals as well. The HR PartsnStuff poly mounts were a game changer for the Buicks. Prior to that, we just used to ratchet strap the motor down with a ratchet strap hooked from the frame to an alternator eye bolt. I assumed the Poly mounts for these E55 cars would've taken off faster than it seems they are. But I also suppose I am comparing apples to oranges as far as the cars themselves are concerned.....at least in terms of ride quality.
