Ok so i had front wheel bearings done by a shop about 6 months ago, replaced both sides with meyle bearing kit from fcpeuro, everything was good for months until one day im driving i get abs and esp light and hard steering at lower speeds. I scan it it shows front left abs speed sensor fault i replaced with a new meyle one, error came back even after reseting it with scanner, then i remembered i got the recall letter for the sbc and it covers speed sensors so i thought maybe with a new oem one it would be fine took it to my local dealer they replaced it for free but they said the error still came back and that the magnetic ring on the wheel bearing wasnt reading fine and thats not covered under the recall. Ive been reading some other posts and all of them have the issue right after they replace the bearings, and the fix is to go with oem magnetic rings but im not sure that is the issue since it has happened months after installing it, anyone have any ideas?

Any help is appreciated.

The ring is not on the bearing but rather on the hub seal behind the bearing race. You'll need to replace it and there is no way that seal is coming out without you damaging it. I've got two coming your way, hits you tomorrow.
