Why does my AMG stutter and go zero rpm sometimes when i smash on the gas hard
Cant figure out why when im at a stop, i smash on the gas and the car jerks, gets up some power and speed then goes zero rpm and no throttle response. At that point car slows down to low rpm and somehow kicks back into 1st or second gear then seems fine. Only other way i can explain is: it does the same thing when if u shift to manual mode and u dnt shift gear the rpms go full and throttle goes low rpm then same process. Please help thnx

You may want to try the adaptive transmission reset.
- Insert you key, turn it to position #2, but don't start the car.
- Press and hold down the throttle to the floor for 5 seconds, do not release.
- Turn off the car, with the pedal depressed.
- Wait 2 minutes and restart, your tranny should now be reset.
