E55 W211 Interior plastics cracking
Hi Folks,
I dont really drive my E55 all that much and it spends most of its time under a car cover in the garage.
I recently took it out on a cold morning and cranked up the heating and noticed as a result the center air vent on the dash began to crack and bulge.
This normal? I have already found another one from a wrecker and but wouldn't mind trying to fix my old one and keeping it as a spare.
Has anyone else experienced this? And what would be the best way to fix my old one?
I am located in Australia (Melbourne) any help would be much appreciated.

Mine was cracked in three places when I got the car last year. Planning on replacing the entire center vent trim when I change my center dash speaker and upgrade to digital climate control (I have a non-AMG W211). If anyone knows the best place to buy this part please let us know.
