Replacing engine in E55

2005 E55 AMG, 2017 E400 Wagon, 2018 C350e hybrid
They will swap, but you may need to swap over your oil pan/pump. You may also need to plug a hole in the supercharger snout if the car the engine comes from did not have SBC (you can swap over the plug from yours, but a lot of people seem to have an issue with the factory plug leaking, so you may be better off welding it if you have the ability).

You will need your motor mount brackets too, if it is a non E55 engine.
