New kid on the block
I'm not sure I'll have much to contribute because this thing is beautimus stock, but just wanted to say hi. Loving what I just picked up. Kept looking at 350s but any under 50k were getting snapped up within 24 hours of going up for sale, at least in the colors & trim I wanted, so I just went ahead and hopped on a nice E63. Enjoying lurking around the forums so far and learning from a lot of the maintenance threads as well as just seeing what others have done to theirs. Ahoy to all!
Some friendly advice: The best thing you can do is stay on top of scheduled maintenance and keep $$$$ aside for repairs (brakes and Airmatic are the big ones). Do not be surprised with expensive repairs, it is a $100k car you are enjoying and fixing, not a $20k one. I also believe it is one of the best bargains in used sport-sedans... so well worth the fixes!

Really glad I came across it and was able to get it relatively nearby without a lot of hassle as well as being able to get a full check on everything before the purchase. A bit under 10k until the next service interval and I'll make sure I keep up with everything preventative. Don't think I could find a better daily to suit what I was wanting in a car, but may look at a bimmer coupe down the line for something to tune and toss around.
