Steering lock removal
Has anyone come up with a sneaky way of removing that steering lock on the column I was about to take to it with a grinder but dont really want to damage the rest of the column. Its on a wreck im parting out so it doesnt bother me to destroy the lock itself.
I saw a howto online where a guy opened the back of the motor that drives the pin and put 12v on the terminals and it released.... Just smash the black plastic cover off and apply 12v then remove the steering lock assembly but I cant even see what actually attaches the damn thing to the column either.
That appears to be the best option to me atm.
