It is a Programa lowering module - let's you lower the AirMatic system in your w211 (the equivalent of lowering springs).

I believe it is controlled through your instrument cluster, though I see what looks like manual controls on it as well.

This is the earlier, pre-remote, version. I had the RENNtech version for awhile. The adjustments are made by using the knobs on the unit, not via cluster.
