Let's hope it was only dead on arrival but this time i will check everything i can before i put the car in use.

Based on the information about my car in this trend, do you think calibration at mb is unessecery at this point?

After some researching sligh uneven airmatic seems to be normal.

Yeah, unless it is really out it won't make too much difference in my opinion. Mine was uncalibrated, I had it calibrated (and lowered) but noticed no real difference.

If I was you I'd just take it to get an alignment and if it can be aligned its good to go!

Maybe you want to get it lowered, take it to a auto scan shop and ask them to calibrate it. It doesn't need to be done by a mercedes dealer as advanced generic scan tools can do the calibration. You can only get it lowered so much I think maybe 5cm, but the guy who did mine he went as low as he could before it started getting too hard to get the corners even and it doesn't seem like far. If you go down this path do it before you get the car aligned.

Get your alignment sheet and post it up, basically your big concern in my opinion is the rear toe. As long as it is in spec you won't gobble up your rears as easily, but lets be real you just got the car you're gonna burn through a couple of sets of rears quite quickly!!!

So you guys don't think i have some kind of overfill scenario which results in blown strut/spring? I will look at the car today. After standstill during the night the car looks like i left it, slightly higher on the right side. If i stick my fingers between the tire and the car i can get two fingers in on the left and three on the right rear.

Same I can get extra finger in on one side. I wouldn't worry about it.

Looking at the car i only found one thing that concerns me. Looking at the springs the left one looks normal but the right one looks all twisted.
The pictures are taken i sport II mode. Does this looks normal? The right side is the one that blew before.
Left

Right

Maybe you can jack the car up and loosen that bolt off and straighten it up and lower it again..the problem looks like the angle on the control arm is not correct and the torque on that bolt is holding it at bad angle!

Yep, that air spring went sideways. Take a look back at the WIS instructions to which I linked. There are specific steps to check for this condition prior to continuing the inflation process.

-Install rear air spring, install but do not tighten lower bolt
-Use DAS to fill air spring with ~0.5 Bar pressure
-Use jack to raise axle shaft to -1.2 degrees
-Use DAS to fill air spring to ~2 Bar pressure
-Inspect air spring to ensure bag did not deform sideways (always a PITA)
-Tighten lower bolt
-Lower axle shaft to extend air spring fully
-Use DAS to fill air spring to ~5 Bar pressure
-Inspect air spring to ensure bag did not deform
-Lower vehicle onto wheels
-Start car (expect an error message on dash) and let vehicle raise to its proper height

I did loosen the bolt in the control arm and put the car on the ground cycling the suspension but no change. How do i deflate the bag without star? Disconnect battery and loose air line slightly while car in air then realign the bag?

No there will still be air in the bag. You have to energize the solenoid. You will have to do that by applying 12v to the pins with the air line disconnected

Tell me more. I guess you mean the connector on the air bag? Possible to run a car battery and clips? Any risk of damage?

Since i dont have star. Once the bag is deflated, should i just realign it and let the car fill? Is it even possible to fix this without star?

Maybe i should just take at to Mercedes to have it fixed?

Yeah once deflated just plug it all back in and make sure it all seated properly and turn on ignition so power goes to the unit and itll inflate. Maybe inflation it while jacked at first so it doesnt need too much pressure, make sure it sitting good then lower car and check again.

Or yeah take it back to mechanic and ask them to fix. Or pay mercedes. I'm surprised your mechanic didn't notice it warped!!!

The mechanic seems to be some kind of mechanic working at speed and faling. He did have to buy me a new spring (which he then put in sideways)

when the spring is seated correctly, should it sit dead straight with the base of the spring horizontal? Looking at the left side it looks normal but sits at a slight angel as well.

heres mine. They can be on a bit of an angle but the bag itself sits perfectly straight.

I'll give it a try. When releasing air just by pulling the air line, will it not release enough air for me to move the spring. Should i have the battery disconnect? Do i need to have the either car on stands or is just the rear enough?

I have zero success in activating the solenoid. I also tried to lift the car and open close the door but no success. I'll just give up and take it to Mercedes.

Even using the Xentry diagnostic system, the air line is loosened at the T-junction located on the sub-frame centerline. Instructions say to loosen line, use Xentry to release air from the air spring in question while monitoring pressure, reset/replace air spring, tighten line (carefully), then follow the procedure above. I see no reason the dealer can't fix it in less than an hour.

The car is at Mercedes right now. They have tried to set the bags straight without success. Both sides are sitting at wrong angel even after deflate and adjustment. They will keep looking in to the problem but anyone have any idea's of why? I got nothing other than damaged bags. The left bag have been driven maby 600 miles and the right one about 12 miles. Other than that the car have just been sitting.

As the fun continues i have a question for you guys that have installed new oem airsprings. If you hold the spring and bottom, is it normaly possible to move the middle of the spring by moving top/bottom with your hands or is the spring stiff out of the box? Mine looked pretty much like a dead fish out of the box.

Mercedes tried to straighten out the airsprings without success, claiming install error. While the installer claiming bad parts.
