Alarm unlock beep gone after dead battery?

Alarm unlock beep gone after dead battery?
Just had something really weird happened to my E55. Car had a dead battery and after charging it and started the car up again, now the alarm beep that you get when unlocking the car with the key fob is gone. The car just unlocks but there is no beep noise. Same thing when locking it. No more beeping.

Anyone experience this before? Im not sure how to fix this.

It's in the IC menus I think. You also need to reset the steering angle sensor and the windows and sun roof.

Could also be the battery in the alarm siren thats bad,leaks acid inside the siren,can cause the siren to squeel at any time,real fun...anybody that havent replaced siren should really do so,located behind left front fender at the rear.

Does a dead battery reset the settings to turn it off ?

I took the bumper off and I didnt see anything leaking from the siren. Is it visible if it leaks?
