Modified E55 Blows its Differential
It might be relevant (no TJ intended) to note that a Renntech-improved W211 blew its factory differential at Raceway Park (Englishtown, NJ) a few weeks ago.
Fess up anybody?

I don't know if its related, but the AMG Club guys from Germany has been recommending changing the rear diff oil on SL55's right after break in because of some failures.

Mods - I can appreciate you making this a separate post due to the content but I should say in all fairness that titling it "RennTech E55 Blows its Differential" probably isn't right. I only heard that it was modified, not specifically Renntech (although a Renntech pulley kit is the most common/likely mod) and to run 11.6 or so makes sense.
Just thought it might be someone around here ....
