pressure

to diminish the understeer I've put the fronts to 40 and the rear to 35-36. I'm not sure if it makes a difference.

I'm running a little under the recommended pressures on the door panel plate (W210 drivers side). Like 38 front 42 rear (recommended is 41/48).

Does the W211 have a door plate with recommended pressure?

Not sure but I thought that was fully loaded constant high speed specs.

I too run 39-40 front and 35 rear, this definately reduces understeer.
