SRS bypass
Looking to maybe install some light weight after market seats for next years racing and will need to figure out if I can bypass the seat air bags with a bypass "tester" or module so that all the rest of the SRS system works correctly. Anyone ever do this ??

Pretty sure just a 3.3ohm resistor is needed to trick the SRS system into thinking the un-deployed airbag is still there attached. Pretty easy and cheap to test to do... Nice to find a minute of bandwidth to see what the ole' AMG crew has been up to on the forums
I have not done this but it seems pretty routine and easily reversible, just take the usual "I am gonna play with an airbag today" precautions.
Light seats means you prolly ditch about 200lbs of sprung weight... that sounds real nice for what you are up too
