airmatic line replacement

Has anyone re-plumbed the air lines on their cars? With age and heat the original lines have to be suffering.
I imagine doing the rear would be a real challenge, but the front, including the pump to the valve block, should be fairly straight forward.
For grins I looked online for replacement hose, and obviously the factory part is expensive. But I also found lots of options for 100' rolls of nylon tubing around $20 per roll. This was the best I found:
temp range: -40f to 212f
max psi: 410
I found others with higher and lower max pressures, but the max temp was 140f-160f I thought that sounded a little low for the engine compartment.
I'm not itching to do this, I just couldn't find a thread that talked about this.
