I recently traded my 2003 M3 for a 2003 E55. There was an issue of road noise with the vehicle that was mentioned by the dealer and they offered to replace the tires at cost (to be included with the price of the deal). However, I declined, knowing I could probably do better myself, and not wanting to inflate the price any further. Has anyone had noise issues with the Conti tires?

The consensus is that the conti's suck. Some have upgraded to the new Michelin Pilot Sport 2's with great success, and they are rated to the E55. If your dealer will allow you to pick the tires, I'd do it.
