2004 E55 Panic Siren Issue
Hey everyone, My E55 is having some problems with the Panic Siren. When I hold the panic button on the key fob, the red light comes on the key fob, but nothing happens to my car. The lights don't turn on, the siren doesn't ring, and nothing happens. All of the other buttons on my fob work including the trunk release, lock, and unlock buttons. Any ideas? Is it a fuse, or a new alarm siren or something else?

There's a good chance the siren has been removed. It's inside the wheel well on the drivers side. Easy to access, once you remove the inside fender liner. They have an internal battery which eventually dies. The replacement siren is about $135.

Checked, siren was there. Replaced it with another one, and same issue. Hold alarm button on key fob until the red light turns on on the fob, but no alarm sounds and no flashing lights. Checked Fuse #8 in rear SAM and it's good.
