Just put together my car and now running rough!

Hey All! This is my second E55. I have an 05, with 122k miles. The car is modded. Here’s the mods:
70mm fixed pulley
long tube headers
cat and resonator delete
C63 mufflers
meth injections
5gallon ice tank
larger intercooler

im sure I’m forgetting some things.

Anyways, I had a check engine light with a MAP sensor code. I had a leaky valve cover so I decided to take everything apart.

Replace the valve cover gaskets , redid the breathers, replaced all the spark plugs and one coil pack. Reconnected everything back together.

First try didn’t turn over because of all the air in the fuel line. Second try fired right up. Only probably was there was a lot of smoke coming out. I assumed it was all the stuff burning off the headers. I ran it for a minute and stuff it off.

when I turned it back on, it starts surging and sounds awful. I’m assuming it’s misfiring and it’s loose connections on the plugs. It smells very rich from the exhaust. I will pull codes and see what’s going on. I think I might have missed something.

any thoughts ?
Oh, and I have an ESP light come on which wasn’t there before.

So I decided to paint everything since it was off and clean everything up.

Also, I found a ton of oil in the surge tanks, and the MAP sensor was covered in oil. I replaced it with a new MAP sensor and new temp sensor.
I have 2 oil catch cans that I haven’t installed yet.

Make sure you plugged the throttle body with the correct connector. The bypass throttle and the throttle body have the same electrical connector.

That’s exactly what was the issue! I was looking back at pictures of when I tore apart the car and I noticed that it was a different wire. I swapped the wires and it was running great!
