Independent Shops In The Bay Area
Hi all.
Hoping to get some referrals to good quality workmanship and honest Indy shops in the South Bay. I did a search and came up with some very old threads and have gotten no response from one shop that was highly recommended.
I need some minor mods and routine work done. Looking for a shop that I can have a long term association with since I've gotten old and crippled up enough not to be able to do my own work anymore.

The 3 shops i have been using for the last 10+ years are:
Mercedes of Silicon Valley on W Julian - have been taking my 14 E63s wagon and 15 GL350 for service there for the last 2 years - really knowledgable - not scared of modded cars - does alot of local AMG guys cars and do performance mods too - honest and straight up - https://www.mercedesservicesiliconvalley.com/ - Nick is great!
Mercedes Connexion - in Campbell right down from California Wheels
Al Bernal is great - has owned that shop for years - worked on my 04, E55, 09 E63 wagon, 14 E63s wagon - he is a certified shop and is a master MB Tech - small shop - shared building with Ferrari shop - not open as much as he used to be - slowly phasing out, but really good guy - has a passion for MB
MotorSpeed West in Santa Clara - 3rd choice - used to goto them as my father in law had been using them for 20 years - they are too busy and don't have the time to invest and aren't focused on performance
