your opinions on oil

I recently asked the same question to the forum..... most of them including the following site recommended Mobil 1 0W40 or Amsoil 5W40.

From a lot of websites (not sure whether the authors are the same), Amsoil is found to be better than Mobil 1. However, I stick w/ Mobil 1.

I would strongly suggest trying to stick with the factory reccomended oil weight and brand. You will not notice that much of a benefit out of changing oil and you also increase the risk of having complications with your dealer/warranty down the road if anything does happen to the engine. Mobil 1 0w-40 is a good oil and is definately capable of protecting your engine. Hope this helps.

thnx for your opinions and suggestions. I've heard somewhere "can't remember where" that mobil 1 wasn't even 100% pure synthetic oil. but there's always someone that says something.
edit: i think i'll use Mobil 1 supersyn 0W-40.

Personally, I don't use oil in my car, I hate the stuff.
OK really, I prefer Amsoil.
