Part outs?

Where are all the part outs I use to see on here? Haven't seen one in a while.

I wondered the same thing. There use to be a lot. I think most of those guys have moved on unfortunately.

a couple reasons. dont drive it that much anymore since i cancelled insurance. when all this covid stuff started to happen my hours were cut so we tightened our spending. it has sat in my garage and i haven t driven in about 3 months. it was always my play thing anyway. i drive a van all day for work and wife has a car and no kids so not much need for it. no wrecks that i know of before i bought back in 2015 i think it was and i haven't been in any accidents. 112k miles but still runs good. i did recently start getting warning for cruise out, esp, abs and power steering. i think all that is from a possible bad sensor in steering column. just recently did front rotors and pads along with new wheel hubs. pulley only has about 250 miles on it. so i have been trying to decide which would bring more money as is, parting or selling out right. interior is in good shape and it has the darker wood trim. loved the car but its just sitting there.

I would hate to see you part it out. I’m sure someone would buy it, just may not be the $ you want. But no matter what is said on here about prices. I wouldn’t give it away.

The only way I would part it out is if it were wrecked and not repairable or cost effective.

im a realist and know as it sits its only worth may 8 to 9k. the body/paint isnt great and its an old platform so maybe get more parting.

if i could get 8k whole i wouldn’t bust my *** trying to part out. engine is 4k at best and who even cares about the rest of the car.
