M113K split cooling question
Hello,
Im installing a split cooling system on my vehicle. I had a question does the self bleeding line on the supercharger need to be capped off or can you leave it in place and let it self bleed through the factory system?

you should cap it or bleed it into your res/fill point for the supercharger circuit not the engine cooling circuit. I assume your running a cl or sl or s class?

Hello,
Thanks for the reply. Yes its on a S55.
so I should bleed the system then just cap of the bleed line and that will be good to go? are there going to be any issues with that?

On my S55 I didn't cap off the hardline nipple. Using a small.BMW tank as a reservoir with a feed and return line, I integrated an aluminum barb fitting to the small tank via a hose attaches to the purge line of the SC. An added benefit of having the purge line operational all the time (and using a clear hose) is that you can see if your level drops (from a slow leak, etc)..
