Lights

I need brighter (LED/HID) headlights and want to replace everything: side-markers, parking/driving lights, headlights (low beams and high beams).

I'm having a difficult time locating the exact bulb replacements and also determining the difference between good manufacturers and bad manufacturers.

What do you recommend?

well most the bulbs are 194 size just get canbus error free.

if you have HID XENON headlights then it’s a D2S size and I recommend Osram CBI or CBB from theretrofitsource.com

I have an 04 E55 and am fairly certain the headlights are HIDs.

Thanks.

Headlights: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/d2...XNL?quantity=1

Are these the side-marker lights?

https://www.theretrofitsource.com/t1...T10?quantity=1

It says "parking lights," but these are too small to be the parking or "driving" lights.

Most people don't realize that your HID bulbs, due in fact dim over time. So if your haven't replaced them say in the last 4 years your due. Simply changing the bulbs will definitely brighten your day. The E63 uses a Sylvania D1S bulb, and I would say that the E55 uses the same but unsure.

Both the side marker and parking lights are identical W5W/T10 bulbs.

If you don't have factory HIDs, I recommend the retrofit lab's kit
